The
Shadows and Their Own Story…
When
walking through the Exhibition of James Hubbell Sculptures we read the Entry Title
to the Show and the Children are quick to point out that the Shadows mostly do not
look like the Sculpture.
We
discuss the stories of the Sculptures some of which are realistic and some abstract.
The Abstract Sculptures give the viewer the option of making a personal story connected
to the Art. The Shadows have a dance of their own.
Viewing these wondrous small works made of simple materials we see the Children learned this lesson so very well. Their Shadows dance and become a story unto themselves…we share their excitement!
